I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Rooftop. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed the short rib egg rolls. The server was friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

ambiance: a true lounge that is perfect for a birthday or fun brunch. they do ask to see your id at the door, but this could be because myself and the rest of the girls i was with look young. music was pretty loud, but that was to be expected. i've been to lounges that were much worse so. we were seated outside & it was HOT. i'm not sure if umbrella could be put over the tables but i feel like thats an investment that could be made; it would've made my experience much more enjoyable. service + cleanliness: it doesn't really seem like the staff moves with a sense of urgency and they do not accommodate for busier days or larger sections. our waitress seemed to have a lot on her plate and this seemed to affect her mood while serving us. it was hot, and she was probably flustered so i'll give her some grace, but just something to keep in mind. the table was clean but all of the glasses we got for a drinks were a bit dirty on the outside, this is easily preventable so this just seems lazy on their part. food: mango sticky rice cocktail: 10/10, you can taste the alcohol but it's really refreshing. that mango puree is really tasty and you can taste the rice but it's not overpowering. french toast: 9/10, very tasty and covered in what looked like frosted flakes? i wasn't a fan of the liquor infused berries but just don't eat them lol. i'm sure you can sub it out as well. breakfast potatoes: 10/10, tasty and seasoned to perfection. tasted like they had a bit of tajin on them? i wish it was served with ketchup on the side. portion size: fantastic! everything left the party satisfied. general: can definitely tell this is a newer place based on the location in long island city. it feels a bit out of place, but it's a nice establishment. it's next to a train, so if you sit outside it'll be loud for a couple of seconds. check it out if you want something more for picture purposes, vibes and pretty good food. they lack attention to detail which makes them fall short, but i think in a few months they could have fantastic growth. give them a shot!

The food and vibe was incredible. I highly recommend. It was very busy so the table staff took a little bit of time to check on you however overall experience was borderline flawless

I came here with my bestie, a girl's night out in the neighborhood. We got to see the beautiful sunset from here. We got there on time and sat by the windows. The shifts were switching at this hour, so Tai told us they would take care of the table at 7 pm. As promised, Brandy, our waitress, came by to take our orders at 7. My friend had a short rib roll, and I had shrimp tacos for appetizers. We shared both appetizers and thought the short ribs were delicious! The shrimp tacos were not bad, either. Then we moved on to the entrees. I had the NY steak, and she had Bronzino. Whoever marinated the steak was doing a fantastic job because the steak was well prepared. It was tasty, juicy, and tender! I tried a piece of the Bronzino, and the Chef knows how to cook this fish. So far, so good. Should we keep going? We both had some nice refreshments too. After enjoying our entrees, we moved on to a nice dessert, chocolate cake a la mode with a touch of whipped cream. That was to complete our night. My friend ordered something for her Hubby, and I had the leftover steak I brought home for my Hubby. Btw we witnessed an aerial dancer performance while dining. That was phenomenal. However, personally, the placement was a bit off. I'm sure the place opened late because we saw a DJ near the stairs. We did look around before we left the building. There's outdoor seating as well. The place is perfect for watching the sunset. The food and service were excellent!
